Did you know that Vitamin C is good for your skin? Not just taking the vitamin as a supplement but actually applying Vitamin C topically onto the skin. Applying Vitamin C directly to the skin aids in keeping the skin from aging, by keeping those wrinkles at bay. It also helps keep the skin smooth, and fade any brown spots that you have been wanting to get rid of.
This is why I was super excited when InstaNatural allowed me the opportunity to try out two of their products, which contain Vitamin C. Not only did the products con taint Vitamin C, but they contained a load of all natural goodies that aid in keeping that skin on “fleek”. LOL
I would have to say of the two the Age-Defying Retinol Serum was my favorite. I applied it at night, it went on smooth, my skin loved it and it never left my face feeling too dry. My oily skin does very well with serums.
Key Ingredients:
+ 2.5% Retinol
+ 20% Vitamin C
+ 10% Hyaluronic Acid
+ Plant & Fruit Acids
The next product I was given was the Retinol Moisturizer with Vitamin C; there goes that Vitamin C again. This particular product, I applied in the morning, after washing and toning my face. I would follow up with my makeup which for me didn’t go on the way I’d like when using the Retinol moisturizer. I am one to go for the nice dewy look and using the moisturizer under my makeup, was not the look for me. My face seemed dry and my makeup barely stayed on my face.
Key Ingredients:
+ 2.5% Retinol
+ Vitamin C
+ Hyaluronic Acid
+ Jojoba Oil
+ Shea Butter
+ Green Tea
Using the two products together was a great idea as it gave my face double the Vitamin C. I noticed that there were less breakouts(I think any Goddess would appreciate that). I also saw small decreases in the hyper pigmentation on my face. After using these products for a good two and a half weeks, my face seemed to become irritated and had to alternate between my coconut oil and both products. I will continue to use the products, alternating to make once or twice every week. I’m trying to have this skin on point.
Have you used skin care with Vitamin C?
